How long to transform your body? | The ways to make it fast

Prepare your mind before your body

Hi everyone!

Looking at this picture, you can tell there has surely been a lot of muscle and strength gains! This took me 9 years. Most of that transformation was done earlier than that, but to this day, I have been training for almost 10 years!

So how do you start your body transformation and how long does it take to transform it completely?

I guess this depends on your goals and motivation. Some people will be satisfied after training their body for 3 months or 6 months. Some others will need years before they like what they see.

The first thing to do before starting to go on this adventure and transform your body is to know where you want to get to. Imagine yourself in 3 months.

Visualise your body after training this whole time.

Be ready in your mind before you get ready with your body.

Once you have written down your goals and are aware of where you want to get to this makes it much easier for you to follow along.

It's like being the captain of a ship and not having a map.

You can guess which is the best way to go but if you are not sure you might just circle around and get lost.

Transforming your body takes time - unless you love what you do

It would not be fair for me to tell you that you can change your body very quickly.

You can surely see some great results in 3 months or 6 months, and again, this depends on where you want to get to and how you have set your goals as explained above.

But more generally, going from out-of-shape to a lean and athletic physique takes around 8 to 12 months depending on what you start from and if you train the right way.

But here is the thing which is very important to consider if you already feel unmotivated before starting your body transformation...

It's that once you get results, everything changes.

I am not going to lie, my journey was a long journey. It was 10 years and I even went up to train up to 3-4 hours a day.

But in the end, it somehow was not that hard.

One thing which made it easier and faster is that training was enjoyable.

I like training because I see results.

Once you get your first results you are hooked! You know that you are going to the gym and being productive. This is what you should go for.

Go through the hard and uncomfortable work of your new routine for a couple of weeks until you already see yourself changing.

From there time will split by two!

It might feel like a chore at first, this is completely normal.

Don't beat yourself up for it.

But how do you get fast enough results and start transforming your body the right way?

Not only you should first prepare yourself mentally and set yourself realistic expectations - but you now need some tips to execute in your training to transform your body!

Here is a big fat list summing-up what's explained above and how you should start training at the gym!

Stay tuned for the next posts where I will try to go a bit deeper on EACH subject...😇
